Choose to Challenge with Our Watch
5 Mar 2021
Hear from MIMCO Managing Director, Sarah Rovis.
To mark International Women’s Day (IWD) on Monday 8 March and in honour of six years of MIMCO’s partnership with Our Watch, we’re bringing you a series of candid conversations on gender equality.
This year’s IWD theme, #ChooseToChallenge encourages all of us to call out gender bias and inequality and to seek out and celebrate women's achievements.
Stay tuned over the coming week as we invite six diverse guests - from a domestic violence advocate to an AFL player - to respond to a selection of thought-provoking questions—ensuring the conversation around equality continues.
Learn more about our long-standing partnership with Our Watch from MIMCO Managing Director, Sarah Rovis.
Violence against women is a serious and widespread issue in Australia with 1 in 3 women affected. The reality is our partnership is incredibly important to our team, to our customers and the broader community.
To date, with your support, we’ve donated over $1 million to Our Watch. These contributions have been used to fund research, projects and campaigns to help drive long-term change.
“We all have a role to play in driving positive social change and I’m incredibly proud of MIMCO’s longstanding partnership with Our Watch – the national leader in the primary prevention of violence against women and their children.”
I’m also pleased to announce that MIMCO will again donate 100% of profits on International Women’s Day, Monday 8 March to Our Watch.
