FRONT ROW FASHION

Fashion Week is electric, exciting and...slightly exhausting. British fashion writer, Katherine Ormerod has been amongst the action in London this year and has shared her tips for making it through in style.
KEEP IT TONAL
"One of the simplest ways to stay chic during Fashion Week is to choose a tonal palette — it makes it much easier to plan your looks beforehand. Go for rich shades like navy, tobacco and burgundy for an elegant and flattering option that works every time."

BUT FIRST, COFFEE
"Keeping up your stamina during Fashion Week is all about scheduling a (caffeine) break from time to time. Sunglasses are also a must — however late you were up working or out dancing the night before, you can always pull of an elegant look under shades."
JEANS AT FASHION WEEK?
"Just because it’s Fashion Week, it doesn’t mean that you can’t wear your jeans — you just need to look for styles that put a twist on the original and make sure your accessories bring a heavy injection of polish. Flats are also completely workable for Fashion Week, but it’s all in the details."
CARRY THE RIGHT BAG
"Mini bags may be having a major moment, but during Fashion Week you need a fair amount of stuff with you when you're on-the-go. Opt for a larger envelope clutch to keep your tickets and necessities safe all day long."
PREPARATION IS KEY
"Make the effort to try everything on before Fashion Week begins and have a clear idea of what you’re going to wear through the week — there is nothing worse than having a 7am panic and turning your room upside down trying to find those shoes that make "that" bag work."
