We're incredibly excited to introduce you to Mimco's new-look flagship
boutiques, now open at Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne
and Westfield Sydney.
Designed in collaboration with Melbourne's Doherty Design Studio, the concept
is a culmination of our brand identity—a unique fashion destination where you're
encouraged to touch, explore and discover accessories that empower.
Behind the design
Mimco's Head of Visual Merchandising, Mel Upton, worked closely with Doherty Design Studio Director Mardi Doherty to create a space both grand in scale and intimate in detail.
A space that allows us to best showcase our seasonal collections, campaigns and tell our story, evoking an unforgettable experience for our customers and team.
All in the details
The architectural brief: strong, bold and decidedly elevated. Curved accents feature throughout as a nod to Mimco's beloved button motif, borrowed from one of our most loved bags. From sweeping shelves to a statement archway entrance, every inch is designed to welcome you in style.
A moment to celebrate
Opening weekend was celebrated in true Mimco style. Our most loyal MIMCollective members were treated to an intimate, closed-door event and tour of the new space. After the ribbon cutting, customers enjoyed double MIMCollective Rewards, a limited-edition frank green gift with purchase, and coffee and sweet treats to savour while they shopped.
In-store exclusives
An occasion this significant called for some extra-special in-store exclusives. Enter: one of a kind jewellery. With only 10 pieces available at Chadstone and Sydney, these unique pieces were handcrafted in Melbourne by our designers, using stones and crystals selected from our extensive archive.
